The Leica 11194 Super-Vario-Elmarit-SL 14-24mm F/2.8 ASPH. black anodized finish is an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for the Leica SL system and its 14-24mm focal length range makes it ideal for a variety of applications: from architecture and interior photography, to action, astro and landscape photography.
The lens construction of this Vario lens consists of 18 elements divided into 13 groups, providing maximum compensation for chromatic aberrations. In addition, three aspherical elements ensure the best image quality in both photo and video. Furthermore, all glass surfaces are multilayer coated and the lens is equipped with a fixed lens hood, preventing unwanted stray light.
The lens features an enormously wide diagonal angle of view of no less than 114°. In most cases, this leads to distortions and aberrations in your images, but thanks to the advanced optical construction, this is optimally compensated for. So you enjoy sharpness all the way to the corners at any focal length and aperture.
