The rotary knobs lock the legs in place.
The tripod comes with the Advanced 494 aluminium centre ball head. The built-in spirit level and ball head mechanism ensure that your shots are always quickly and properly aligned. The friction knob lets you adjust the ball tension, so the weight of your camera is always perfectly balanced. It comes with an Arca-compatible plate holder which you secure with a rotary knob.
