The Manfrotto MVK500190XV Aluminium Video Tripod is ideal for filmmakers with a DSLR, mirrorless camera or camcorder. This tripod is easy to set up, and thanks to the video head, you always get nice smooth images. The Safety Payload of this tripod is 8 kg. With this, Manfrotto guarantees safe use of up to 8 kg. The Max Payload may be higher. This makes this tripod suitable for most DLSR cameras. It weighs only 3.2 kg, making it ideal for a filmmaker who has to travel a lot.
The tripod has a Quick Power Lock System (QPL), a Ground Level Adapter and an Easy Link attachment. It has a maximum height of 173.3 cm. The QPL system allows the three leg sections to be fully expanded via simple installation. An Easy Link adapter mount provides a direct connection between the tripod and accessories, such as LED lights for macro photography and DSLR video applications using Manfrotto articulated arms and brackets. Each leg can be adjusted to four different angles to work on uneven ground.
The tripod comes with the Manfrotto MVH500AH video head. It is a lightweight video head with a preset counterweight of 2.4 kg. Bridging Technology now allows for fluid movement even with lightweight cameras. The base of the video head is flat, so it can be mounted on any tripod. The video head features the professional Manfrotto Fluid Cartridges on both the vertical and horizontal axis. Every movement of the camera is smooth, controlled and very precise. The camera is quick to attach thanks to the quick-release system, as you place it on top rather than from the back. The connection is solid and secure. The Manfrotto MVH500AH also features a 3/8" threaded connection for connecting additional accessories, such as a lamp or an external monitor.
