The Metz Mecablitz 24 AF-1 is a Metz flash from their compact range. Use different light conditions with this flash and easily bounce your light with this compact flash. Bouncing means that you let the light from your flash bounce off the ceiling and walls for wider light and softer shadows. Your Mecablitz reacts synchronously to the light from your Nikon camera's built-in flash. Illuminate your subject from a different angle to create a beautifully harmonious flash effect. This fantastic flash always remains up to date thanks to the USB port with which you can download updates from your computer at any time. The Metz 24 AF-1 has a guide number of 24; this indicates the flash's maximum range in metres. In practice, this will be less though, because the range of the flash also depends on the aperture and ISO values. You can calculate the actual range of the flash in metres using the formula below:
Guide number / Aperture value = The flash range (at ISO 100). For an ISO of 200, you must multiply the value by 1.4.
