The glass itself is made by fusing a micro-layer of NanoBlack particles between two layers of top-quality Japanese filter glass, preserving full image quality. The filter's ring is precision-milled from aerospace-grade metal and is designed to be thin enough to stack under another filter without compromising the field of view.
