The Nanlite Halo 14 is a versatile bi-colour ring light that adapts to a wide range of situations and creative needs. Whether you’re recording make-up tutorials, livestreaming, shooting portraits or working on product photography, the Halo 14 delivers consistent, soft and virtually shadow-free studio-quality lighting—without the need for extra diffusion cloths or plastic filters. Its signature circular shape also creates the well-known round catch lights in your subject’s eyes, giving your images a polished, professional look.
The colour temperature is steplessly adjustable from 2700K (warm) to 6500K (daylight), making it easy to match other light sources or set the mood on set. Brightness is dimmable from 0 to 100% via the centrally placed control knob, accessible from both the front and back of the lamp—so you don’t have to keep walking around to fine-tune your light. With a CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 93, skin tones and colours are rendered accurately, both to the naked eye and on camera.
Thanks to its compact 35.6 cm diameter and a weight of just 635 grams, the Halo 14 is ideal for smaller spaces and easy to take on location. The light runs on mains power and features a standard 5/8 inch receiver mount, allowing you to attach it to virtually any light stand. The included table stand also makes it ready to use straight away on a desk or table—no separate stand required.
