The Nikkor Z 40mm F/2.0 S-line Nikkor is a compact prime lens suitable for full frame (Nikon FX) mirrorless cameras with Nikon-Z mount. The lens is sharp, bright and small enough to shoot unobtrusively.
With this lens you can enjoy an incredible amount of detail, depth and colour. Thanks to the natural angle of view, this lens is perfect for portraits, interviews or instructional videos. Because the lens is very compact and has a silent AF, you can film or shoot unobtrusively and your subjects feel free to behave naturally.
Create images with beautifully soft backgrounds and beautiful bokeh thanks to the large Z mount, F/2.0 aperture and rounded 9 blades. Even up close, this lens offers very sharp images with a close focusing distance of only 0.29 meters.In addition, the Nikkor Z 40 mm F/2.0 S-line Nikkor is also extremely suitable for video. The lens has a very quiet stepper motor and an improvement due to the extra light from the Z mount. As a result, the focus of the lens is very fast, accurate and silent. You can now use the lens' autofocus while filming without the focus noises interfering with a scene.
Due to the size of the lens, you can easily take it with you in a small bag or jacket pocket, or attach it to your camera during a long city walk. In addition, this lens is fully customizable.
