The Nikkor Z 100-400 mm F/4.5-5.6 VR S is a premium S-line telephoto zoom lens with an extremely long range of 100-400 mm. The lens has been specially developed for users of Z-mount mirrorless cameras, including the new Nikon Z9. The lens offers a fantastic combination of focal range and aperture. The long-range, weatherproof seal, fast and quiet focusing and the ability to track fast-moving subjects make the lens perfect for sports and wildlife photography.

The S-line lens is designed to the highest standards and offers excellent sharpness and clarity. The minimum focusing distance is only 0.75 m on the wide-angle side and 0.98 m when fully zoomed in. The autofocus is divided over two super-fast STM stepper motors. Which not only move synchronously with each other but also do so completely silently.

The Nikkor Z 100-400 mm F/4.5-5.6 VR S is the lightest in its class, weighing just 1355 grams. In addition to its low weight, the Inner Balance Technology has been applied, making the lens extremely balanced. This technology ensures that weight shift caused by zooming in or out is minimized. The Inner Balance Technology keeps you stable.

An optical stabiliser is built in as standard, with vibration reduction that provides a correction of 5.5 stops, and expands to a whopping 6 stops on the Z9, while nine rounded diaphragm blades provide a smooth bokeh. Combined with the Inner Balance Technology, shooting handheld with slower shutter speeds is child's play.

Two super ED glass elements and six ED glass elements minimize chromatic aberrations. The anti-reflective ARRNEO and Nano Crystal coating are applied to prevent glare and lens flare. But that's not all. The lens is also weatherproof. All moving parts of the lens barrel are weatherproof. For example, the lens mount has a rubber gasket. The front element Nikon's own fluorine coat. Not only does this make it incredibly easy to wipe clean, but it also repels dust, oil and water droplets.

The NIKKOR Z 100-400 mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S does not get the S-Line designation for nothing. It is reserved only for premium NIKKOR Z lenses with the most advanced optics, superior resolution, beautiful bokeh, robust weather sealing and precision design.
