NiSi True Color Rotating Polarizer Filter 4 "x5.65"

The NiSi True Colour Rotating Polarizer Filter 4 "x5.65" reduces reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarised by reflection off a non-metallic surface. A Polarisation filter arranges and filters this directionally polarised light perpendicular to the reflected light, allowing much of this light absorption. This results in a noticeable reduction in glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage.

The True Color PL removes the warm tone seen with other brands of Polarisation filters and offers accurate, true colour rendering of the scène.

This rotating polariser is designed with the cinematograph in mind. The filter is 6 mm thick and fits into a standard matte box tray. The PL features an M0.8 focus adjustment mechanism, allowing adjustments with an attached small motor or manually. The aluminium frame is light, stable and durable and includes a 1/4" thread so the PL can be used with a magic arm. A 15mm support rod is included in the box. The edge of the Polarizer is sealed to prevent moisture from entering the filter.

The Rotating PL Polarizer can significantly improve the efficiency of time-sensitive shots, making it a powerful tool for videographers and cinematographers.
