Description
Panasonic MFT 25-50mm F/1.7 Leica DG Vario-Summilux
The Panasonic MFT 25-50mm f/1.7 Leica DG Vario-Summilux is the world's first zoom lens with a fixed aperture of F/1.7 over the entire zoom range. The 25-50mm zoom range perfectly matches the Leica DG Vario-Summilux 10-25mm F/1.7 and is comparable to 50-100mm on a 35mm camera. The optical construction of this lens consists of 16 elements in 11 groups, including an aspherical lens and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses that suppress axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration due to magnification. The aspherical lenses also correct for spherical aberration and distortion, enabling stunningly high resolution. The use of aspherical lenses and the design of the lens ensure a compact size and low weight. In addition, the excellent optical performance of the lens meets strict Leica standards. The 25-50mm F/1.7 Leica DG Vario-Summilux also excels in video recording performance, making it suitable for both photographers and videographers. Compatibility with a fast sensor drive of up to 240 fps enables very fast and highly accurate AF. The internal focusing system ensures silent operation. In addition, the stepless aperture ring and micro-step drive system in the aperture control section help the camera quickly adapt to changes in brightness when zooming and panning. The focus ring has a User manual focus clutch that provides intuitive and accurate focusing.
Want to use this lens for macro shots? No problem. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.28 meters and a magnification factor of 0.42 x, it is very suitable for this. The robust design is also dust and splash Water-resistant and can withstand harsh conditions, even temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius.
