The Pentax DA 18-50mm F4-5.6 HD DC WR lens is designed for use with the PENTAX K - APS-C sensor cameras. The lens is designed as a compact, all-round solution. Because of its special design, this Pentax 18-50mm with a length of only 41mm is the smallest standard zoom lens in the world (February 2015). Despite the ultra-compact design this lens offers optimal ease of use, and includes the PENTAX own HD coating, Super Low Dispersion Glass elements and an aspherical element ensures minimization of aberrations in the lens. The result is crisp, high contrast, balanced images. The built-in DC motor, ensures smooth, quiet autofocus, while the weatherproof housing ensures that you can fully depend on your objective, even in demanding weather conditions.
