The Pentax HD FA 77mm F1.8 Limited is a prime lens that is suitable for everyday photography. The maximum aperture of f/1.8 gives you even more control over depth of field to isolate your subject even more. Very nice when you start working with portrait photography. In addition, this lens also performs well in low light. The 9 aperture blades contribute to a fine bokeh quality. The Pentax HD FA 77mm F1.8 Limited is equipped with a coating that controls spherical aberration and ensures a neutral colour balance to prevent colour deviations. Internal reflections are also greatly reduced thanks to the black coating on the inside of the lens tube. The front lens element is provided with a Super Protect coating, which means you are less likely to encounter dust or water damage or scratches. Finally, the Pentax HD FA 77mm F1.8 Limited has a built-in lens hood, which makes it a little easier to block out unwanted light
