The PioneerDJ DDJ-FLX6-GT DJ rekordbox Controller is a 4-channel DJ controller for various DJ applications.

The brand new design of the DDJ-FLX6-GT includes a fresh look and feel of the large jog wheels, which are graphite grey lacquered and finished with a metallic texture. The rubber coating on the outer ring promotes playability. While compatibility with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro was already a given (both free), the new controller now also offers support for VirtualDJ (licence sold separately). For TRAKTOR PRO 3, you must first download the allocation files, regardless of your model.

The control panel layout on the DDJ-FLX6-GT is equivalent to its predecessor and reminiscent of the classic CDJ + DJM club setup, allowing you to perform from your gut. The colour combination (matt grey with graphite grey jogwheels) creates a sophisticated look.

VirtualDJ is compatible with the new device (licences sold separately), which offers free compatibility with rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro. Moreover, the DJ controller comes with licence keys for the Serato FX Pack, the Pitch 'n Time DJ Expansion Pack and the TRAKTOR PRO 3 TSI file, which will be launched soon. Thanks to the built-in sound card, all you have to do is connect the DDJ-FLX6-GT via a USB cable to a laptop with the software installed and you can start DJing straight away.

Add drama to your sets and easily mix different music styles. Regardless of the BPM or key of the next song, you can create exciting transitions whenever you want. Just press the knob and turn it as fast or slow as you like. This is how you build tension in the music.

Switch on Jog Cutter and simply turn the jog wheel to add a professional-sounding scratch effect to the last Hot Cue or playback position you used on that table. There are 10 different scratch patterns and you can switch from one to another by simply moving the playback position on the jogwheel display until it points to the scratch you want to use.

Pitchbending and scratching feel natural thanks to the large jogwheels, which are the same size as those on the flagship CDJ-3000 multiplayer. Each jogwheel is equipped with an On Jog display, by the way, so you can always keep an eye on the playback head position.

Sample Scratch is a completely new pad mode in rekordbox that lets you load sounds assigned to the sampler into the decks. So when you want to remix a track live or just add some texture to the music, you can scratch with your favourite sounds.
