The PolarPro Recon - Stage 2 | ND16 filter is a high quality filter built for the Recon filter system. The ND16 filter reduces 4 stops of light, allowing you to work with slower shutter speeds. The filter has a 16-layer multi-coating, which means that it is scratch, oil, water and dust resistant, among other things. The filter is hyper neutral up to 1200nm and ensures a completely neutral colour reproduction. You simply click the filter onto the VND 3-6+ filter or the tread base which you will find in the Recon Directors Kit or VND Standard Kit. With the filters from the Recon series you have high-quality filters in your hands that provide a beautiful cinematic effect. There are 5 filters available in the Recon series, including this ND16 filter.
The Recon filter system is especially for the professional filmmaker who wants to get the most out of his gear. The series was developed in collaboration with Canadian filmmaker Peter McKinnon. With this filter system you can change filters in no time or click the Matte Box with removable flag on it. It is extremely compact and is made of the high-quality materials that PolarPro is known for.
