Sachtler System Ace XL FT GS (1017GS)

The Sachtler System Ace XL FT GS (1017GS) is a tripod system designed specifically for videographers working with cameras weighing up to 8 kg. The tripod offers a filming experience similar to that of professional broadcasting systems, yet with lightweight components that complement DSLRs and camcorders really well.

The tripod comes with a liquid head that uses Sachtler's Synchronized Actuated Drag when making pan and tilt movements. It can make pan movements with a range of 360 degrees and tilt movements with a range of +90 to -75 degrees. For quick stabilization of your camera, it has a built in 75 mm ball and an illuminated spirit level. There is a mounting point for a pan lever on the right side of the tripod head.

The System Ace XL tripod legs are equipped with a unique leg lock system allowing you can to set it up or adjust it within seconds. The legs are made of carbon, which makes the tripod durable and easy to carry. With the help of the floor spreader, you can adjust the height of your tripod even faster. Without a floor spreader, you can also use it in extra low positions.
