Description
The Samyang MF 14 mm F2.8 MK2 is an ultra-wide-angle lens that delivers sharp images from corner to corner, even at a maximum aperture of f/2.8. This lens, which you focus manually, is ideal for capturing landscapes, interiors or the universe because of its wide angle of view. The built-in lens hood effectively blocks unwanted light.
The Samyang 14 mm F2.8 MK2 has two new functions: Focus Lock and De-click. With the Focus Lock you lock the focus ring at a specific point, allowing you to easily and precisely repeat certain shots. This comes in handy during filming, astrophotography and when taking time-lapse shots. The De-click function allows stepless fine adjustment of the diaphragm. By turning the silver ring on the lens from 'Click' to 'Free', you set the aperture smoothly and precisely, so you get just the right amount of light in your photo.
Thanks to 9 circular diaphragm blades, this lens delivers a beautiful bokeh performance, providing a soft and smooth background blur. The 9 blades also provide a clear sun star when the aperture is closed.
There are seals around the bayonet connection to prevent the ingress of moisture and/or raindrops. This feature provides an extra layer of protection when shooting outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
