Samyang 20mm T1.9 ED AS UMC Canon
The Samyang 20mm T1.9 ED AS UMC is a bright high-quality ultra-wide angle lens for cameras with a Full-Frame or APS-C size sensor. This fixed focal lens is made with videography in mind and is ideal if you want to film documentaries, landscapes or architecture with a high-quality wide-angle with a Full-Frame camera. Even in low light, you can make perfect shots and the focus is excellent even with large aperture openings. Thanks to the large and bright T1.9 aperture, you can take shots with a very small depth of field.

The wide focus ring allows you to focus easy and smoothly manually. Because the ring runs so smoothly, you can focus accurately on both film and photography. The application of a 7-blade aperture ensures a beautiful bokeh. The optical construction of the Samyang 20mm T1.9 contains 3 extra large dispersion glass parts (ED), 2 a-spherical and by using Samyang Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) the best light transmission is created and ghosting and flare are reduced. The ultra-short minimum focusing distance of this lens is only 20cm. If you use the full opening T1.9 it is possible to completely separate the main subject from the background.
The T markings on the lens allow you to deliver very precise video work. The focus ring has a serrated edge and can therefore be used as standard with follow focus systems. The diaphragm can be adjusted smoothly and quietly with the disengaged stepless aperture ring. For extra convenience when filming, the T numbers and distance scale are placed on both sides of the lens.
