The Samyang AF 35mm F/1.4 FE II is a fast wide-angle lens designed for Full-frame and APC-C cameras with a Sony E-mount. The lens is not only ideal for portrait and landscape photography, it is also very suitable for making video recordings.

The Samyang AF 35mm F/1.4 FE II lens offers a razor-sharp image from corner to corner. Thanks to the two aspherical elements, the image has excellent contrast and great detail reproduction. Samyang's advanced lens coatings ensure a crystal-clear image even in challenging lighting. An improvement of the CCI (Colour Contribution Index) ensures precise colour accuracy.

Thanks to Samyang's linear stepping motor, the autofocus tracking is fast, accurate and quiet in both photography and videography. The autofocus is silent and free of vibrations. Tracking your subject is easy, fast and precise. With a large maximum aperture of f.1.4, the lens is very bright and you can easily create depth of field and interesting bokeh effects in your shots.

With the Focus Hold button, you can easily lock the AF focus at the automatically set distance. You can also assign other functions to the button via the menu of your camera. The Custom Switch is programmed by default to be able to set the aperture of the lens. When you record with the autofocus, you can adjust the aperture with the focus ring after pulling the Custom Switch. With a Samyang lens station it is possible to add other functions to the Custom Switch.

Thanks to an aluminium focus ring, the Samyang AF 35mm F/1.4 FE II is sealed in four different places. The housing is dust and splashproof, so you can also use the lens in bad weather conditions.
