Meet Sigma’s DG Contemporary series of prime lenses for mirrorless camera’s. Lenses in this line are characterised by their sturdy metal construction, ultra-fast and accurate Autofocus and fantastic optical performance. The lens has a magnetic lens cap and metal Lens hood and is dust- and splashproof.
Focal length
The fixed focal length of 20 mm provides impressive perspectives. It offers a nóg wider image than 24 mm and allows for dramatic compositions. This wide viewing angle is highly suitable for landscape photography with an emphasis on the foreground, astrophotography, interior photography in cramped spaces (widely used in home photos’s for real estate agencies) and architectural photography with creative perspective.
Aperture
This lens contains a maximum aperture of f/2. This means the lens is very bright, allowing you to shoot good, sharp images even in low-light situations. It also provides a small depth of field which in turn results in a nice, soft bokeh background. With such’s wide Aperture, you can isolate parts of your subject for impressive images. Useful for portraits, night photography and creative shots with lots of subject isolation.
