Description
Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG II Art - Sony E
With a versatile 35mm angle of view, you capture the world around you in a natural way, perfect for street photography and sweeping landscapes. When you use this lens on a Sony APS-C camera, you get an equivalent of 52.5mm, making it instantly very suitable for portraits.
Thanks to the maximum aperture of f/1.4, this lens performs exceptionally well in low light, without you having to raise the ISO straight away. The 11 rounded aperture blades also deliver a buttery-smooth, natural background blur, keeping out-of-focus light balls perfectly round and atmospheric.
The optical design of 15 elements in 11 groups delivers exceptional corner-to-corner sharpness and minimises distracting colour fringing. A major benefit for astrophotographers is the excellent control of coma flare, so stars at the edges of the frame don’t distort but are rendered as pin-sharp points.
Despite its premium build quality, the lens weighs just 640 grams, providing perfect balance on your Sony mirrorless camera. The housing is dust- and splash-resistant, the front element has a dirt-repellent coating, and the lens features a programmable AFL button and a de-clickable aperture ring for videographers.
