Description
This Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Canon zoom lens has a huge range of 10x and is suitable for a variety of subjects, such as portraits, sports and wildlife. The advanced optical design includes one SLD element and three FLD elements, which significantly suppress chromatic aberrations and color edges over the zoom range for better clarity and color accuracy. A Super Multi-Layer Coating has also been applied to individual elements to keep lens flare and ghosting under control when working in strong light.
A complement to optical performance is a Hyper Sonic AF engine that offers fast and quiet autofocus performance, along with an Intelligent OS system that minimizes camera shake up to four stops. The physical design of the lens also includes different seals to protect against dust and moisture, and a water- and oil-repellent coating is applied to the exposed elements to prevent moisture, fingerprints or stains from sticking to the surface.

The lens is manufactured using a Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material, together with traditional metals, for greater precision and use with large temperature variations. The bayonet mount is made of brass for guaranteed accuracy and durability. In addition, rubber seal is included in the design of the container to make it dust and splash resistant. The tripod ring has a rotating design and the exchangeable base is Arca-type compatible for easy assembly. This lens is compatible with the optional Sigma USB Dock for tuning different lens Features and updating the firmware. Compatible with optional Sigma 1.4x and 2x teleconverters.
