The Sigma 70-200 mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sport Nikon is one of the Sigma Global Vision Line lenses that are eagerly awaited. It is the new flagship, a telephoto zoom lens with large aperture that meets the most stringent requirements of professional photographers. The magnesium lens body is both robust and lightweight, which increases the portability. The dust and splash-proof construction, together with the water and oil repellent coating on the front element, guarantees that the lens can be safely used in the most challenging conditions. It also includes an intelligent control system with an acceleration sensor and the latest algorithm that can be panned in all directions.
The optical design of the lens consists of 10 exclusive low-dispersion glass elements. This enables extremely high resolution, from the middle to the corners. By optimizing spherical aberration, a smooth and natural bokeh effect is achieved when the Sigma 70-200 mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sport is used for portrait photography. The versatility of this lens is demonstrated in various adjustment options via an AF function button, either via the camera body or Sigma USB Dock.
