Meet Sigma’s DG Contemporary series of prime lenses for mirrorless camera’s. Lenses in this line are characterised by their sturdy metal construction, ultra-fast and accurate Autofocus and fantastic optical performance. The lens has a magnetic lens cap and metal Lens hood and is dust- and splashproof.
Focal length
The fixed focal length of 90 mm provides a nice compression of the image (Background close to subject) which is very flattering for portraits. The relatively large zoom allows you to shoot with great distance from the subject.
Aperture
This lens contains a maximum aperture of f/2.8 that lets you go in all sorts of directions. For example, this is a bright aperture that allows you to create beautiful bokeh images. It is suitable for low-light situations, but thanks to the large aperture you also create a nice background blur in high-light situations.
