Description
SmallRig 4224 CINE Filter 4 x 5.65" ND0.3 (1 Stop)
The SmallRig 4224 CINE Filter 4 x 5.65" ND0.3 (1 Stop) filter is a neutral grey filter that reduces exposure by 1 f-stop. This allows you to shorten the shutter speed and thus increase the aperture to achieve extra depth of field when taking photos or for more precise frame rate control when shooting video. Shooting with a larger aperture reduces the depth of field and isolates the subject of the photo from the background, increasing bokeh.
This filter can be used with any 4 x 5.65" matte box or filter holder with a 4mm thick filter slot. It is made of Schott's B270 optical glass, which is characterised by its high clarity and transmittance. It is precision ground and polished for use with lenses of different focal lengths without compromising image sharpness.
The filter has a double-sided multilayer nano-coating on both sides to reduce lens flare and optimise light transmission. The coatings are mould- and water-resistant and hardened to prevent staining and easily remove dirt or greasy fingers, ideal for use in harsh environments.
