Designed for professional outdoor videography, the SmallRig x Potato Jet Tribex Hydraulic Carbon Fiber Tripod 4259 offers quick and easy operation. With X-Clutch hydraulic technology, pressing a single clutch causes all legs to quickly unfold, adjust angle and lock automatically in just one second, offering photographers a seamless experience.
The clutch can also be adjusted to 45° and 90° to accommodate different shooting scenarios. Made of carbon fibre, both the legs and centre column ensure a lightweight design while delivering exceptional stability and high load capacity. The operational height ranges from 27 cm to 168 cm and a compact storage length of 79 cm. The centre column features a quick-lock design for easy height adjustments, with a removable hex key built into the other side of the hook for easy mounting/dismounting of camera equipment, and the option for shooting from a low angle at a minimum height of 27 cm. The compact design of the tripod allows it to fit into any standard luggage.
The kit includes a compact and lightweight hydraulic fluid head with an adjustable 4-step counterbalance system. When the gravity centre height is set to 55 mm, the 4-step counterbalance system effectively stabilises cameras or other equipment (up to 6 kg) while providing precise control over camera tilt. The fluid head allows seamless, stepless adjustments for tilt and pan damping, to accommodate filmmakers' different shooting preferences. The fluid head uses a new Touch-and-Go quick-release mounting plate design that requires no alignment and is more efficient than traditional sliding plates.
The plate is compatible with 501 quick release plates and DJI RS series quick release plates, allowing quick transitions between stabilisers and tripods during filming. The user-friendly detachable telescopic handle allows easy operation of the head when attached to the left or right side, ensuring compatibility with any grip. The fluid head also has three 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching accessories such as magic arms, along with a built-in flat head screw for easy camera installation and removal. The tripod also has quick-release rubber feet with integrated spikes, ensuring seamless adaptation to different terrains.
