The Sony 50mm F1.8 E-Mount Full Frame is compact and weighs only 186 grams. It is the ideal lens to always carry with you: a 50mm prime lens with large aperture is undeniably indispensable for the serious photographer. A newly designed double-gauss optical configuration with an aspherical element minimises spherical aberration and will make every frame clear and sharp. The double-gauss optical configuration reduces field curvature and distortions.
The DC actuator of the lens offers quick, quiet, and accurate autofocus performance. Focussing will always be smooth, whether you do it manually or automatically. A large F1.8 aperture and rounded seven-blade diaphragm create a beautiful bokeh background, bringing your subject to life. By placing a sharply detailed subject in front of a blurred or out-of-focus background, you create images with a deep, dimensional effect.
