The Sony FE 35mm F/1.4 GM (SEL35F14GM.SYX) is a wide-angle lens that is perfect for getting started with landscape and astro photography, and filming. The 63-degree wide-angle view offers excellent close-up possibilities. Using Sony's most advanced optical design and manufacturing technology, it delivers extraordinary resolution and gorgeous bokeh with precision focus performance. Two XA (extreme aspherical) elements, an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element and Nano AR coating II all contribute to high-contrast, high-resolution results with corner-to-corner sharpness and dramatically reduce chromatic aberration, flea and ghosting.
Even in strong daylight and backlit conditions, the Nano AR coating II effectively minimises internal reflections to eliminate flare and ghosting. In addition, the 35mm F/1.4 is equipped with two XD Linear Extreme Dynamix motors, allowing for faster and better focus during photography or filming. The lens features a dust- and moisture-proof design. Together with the many control options, this makes this prime lens ideal for the most difficult scenarios, both indoors and out.
