The TTArtisan APS-C AF 56mm F/1.8 Sony E-mount in the colour silver is a lightweight prime lens ideal for portraits. Designed for use with APS-C Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, the lens offers a portrait length full-frame equivalent of 84mm. Capturing images in low light is no problem with the bright maximum f/1.8 aperture.
The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 50 cm and has a stepper motor to drive autofocus, which helps to enable quiet and fast performance. One extra-low dispersion (ED) element reduces colour fringes and chromatic aberrations to achieve greater clarity and accuracy.
The optical design includes ten elements in nine groups that work together to reduce dispersion and chromatic aberration. These include an ED and two high-index elements.
The focusing accuracy provided by eye detection makes it easy to capture images while ensuring the subject is in focus. This is also beneficial for tracking your subject while recording videos, ensuring smooth and sharp images.
The lens barrel and mount are made of aluminium, contributing to its durable yet lightweight construction. A built-in USB-C port enables firmware updates.
