The Viltrox AF 28mm f/4.5 is an ultra-thin full frame prime lens for L-mount cameras. Weighing just 60 grams and measuring 13.2 mm thick, this is the lightest and thinnest lens Viltrox has ever designed. Pair the lens with cameras such as the Panasonic LUMIX S9, Sigma BF or Leica SL3 for a compact full frame setup, ideal for street photography, travel and capturing everyday moments.
The optical construction consists of 6 elements in 6 groups, including 2 aspherical and 2 ED lens elements. This combination reduces chromatic aberration and distortion, and delivers sharp, detailed images with natural colour reproduction. Thanks to native L-Mount Alliance certification, the lens supports automatic in-camera lens corrections, eye and face detection and EXIF data transmission.
The VCM autofocus motor ensures fast and accurate focusing in a remarkably compact format, for both photo and video. The minimum focusing distance of 32 cm offers room for close-up details. The fixed octagonal aperture of f/4.5 creates a striking star effect in backlight, giving your images a unique character.
The innovative sliding lens cap makes the lens ready for use in no time. Slide the cap open and you have a fully functional autofocus lens, slide it closed to keep dust and dirt out.
