The large f/1.7 aperture with 9 rounded aperture blades delivers smooth background blur and also helps you capture bright photos in low light. The quiet STM focusing motor makes the lens suitable for video too.
Weighing around 170 grams and measuring just Ø64mm x 56.4 mm, this is one of the most compact lenses in its category. The durable metal lens mount and the built-in USB-C port make firmware updates easy to install. Thanks to the HD nano multi-layer coating, the lens reduces lens flare and ghosting.
