The Voigtländer APO-Ultron 90mm F/2.0 VM in black is a lens that sets standards in optical performance and design. With its exceptional sharpness and apochromatic structure that virtually eliminates axial chromatic aberrations, it opens up new creative possibilities for photographers.
The APO-Ultron 90mm F2 VM was specially developed for the Leica M-mount. The construction includes 8 lens elements, 6 of which are made of abnormal partial dispersion glass - a technical feat that guarantees first-class image quality.
Despite its excellent performance, the lens is extremely compact with a length of just 63.3 mm. Thanks to the 12 diaphragm blades, the aperture remains almost circular, creating a wonderfully soft bokeh. The combination of a long focal length and a large F2 aperture enables impressive background blur, effectively emphasizing subjects.
The APO-Ultron 90mm F2 VM is designed for photographers who value unparalleled handling and manual precision. The robust all-metal helicoid ensures a silky-smooth focussing experience, while the precise rangefinder coupling guarantees the highest level of accuracy. With a minimum focussing distance of 0.9 m - exceptionally close for a 90mm lens with VM-mount - detailed close-ups are easily possible.
The lens is compatible with full-frame analogue and digital rangefinder cameras. In addition, it can be used seamlessly on digital cameras with Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X-mount or Nikon Z-mount using optional Voigtländer mount adapters.
