Voigtländer Color-Skopar 50mm F/2.2 VM Mount silver
With a maximum aperture of F2.2, the Voigtländer Color-Skopar 50mm F/2.2 VM Mount lens (silver) is a standard 50mm focal length lens, but its overall length from the mounting surface is ??only 30mm. 7 elements in 6 groups, including 3 elements of anomalous partial dispersion glass, ensure excellent optical performance from a maximum aperture of F2.2. This compact and highly mobile lens is ideal for all-round use.
The overall length from the mounting surface is reduced to 30 mm and the filter diameter is the traditional size of ø39 mm. It has a compact appearance, is highly portable and easy to take in and out of a bag. The focus tab is shaped to fit around your finger for quick and accurate focusing.
The lens focuses beyond the minimum rangefinder-coupled focusing distance of 0.7 m to 0.5 m. This feature is especially useful when using the lens on a camera with a live view function.
Uses a very precisely machined and tuned all-metal helicoid unit, lubricated with high-grade grease, to achieve ??smooth focusing with just the right amount of torque. This allows very precise focusing.
Uses the VM-mount lens mount which is compatible with Leica M-mount. Not only can this lens be used on rangefinder cameras, but in terms of design it is also very nicely balanced when mounted on mirrorless digital cameras with a mount adapter.
The highly accurate rangefinder coupling mechanism allows precise focusing in focus-critical situations, such as when shooting at or near maximum aperture. The lens features a generous image circle covering the 35 mm full-frame format. Moreover, the format is extremely compact compared to interchangeable lenses for SLRs.
