The Voigtländer Color-Skopar F2.8 28 mm VM aspherical lens, Type I, in the colour black, uses the latest optical design and an aspherical lens, while maintaining the same optical performance as the Ultron Vintage Line 28 mm F2 aspherical lens with VM mount, achieving an extremely compact design by keeping the maximum aperture at F2.8. The lens uses an M mount, has a nostalgic look and uses a brass material for the exterior of the lens.

There are two types of exterior, silver and black lacquer. As for the black lacquer, even the mounting part is finished in black. The focus lock knob, focus lever and stoppers for infinity/close are nickel-plated to add an accent to the design.

The use of an all-metal helicoid unit processed and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces just the right amount of torque allows focusing with a smooth operating feel. It enables fine focusing.

It comes with a special aluminium lens hood (black) and an aluminium front cap (black) that take into account the lens body design and light-blocking performance.

For 35mm full frame format, a generous image circle is secured. In addition, it is very compact compared to interchangeable lenses for SLRs.

By using an aspherical lens, excellent optical performance is demonstrated even at maximum aperture. The overall length of the product is 23.5 mm (from the mounting surface), vignetting of the shooting frame when using the rangefinder is minimal and handling is good.

The rangefinder's high-precision locking mechanism allows precise focusing near the maximum aperture. The shortest shooting distance with the rangefinder is 70 cm.
