How does a weather station work?
A weather station consists of two parts: the station and the sensor. You place the sensor outside in a place where it is not hidden from the wind, but hanging out of full sun. The device hanging outside, the sensor, measures temperature, humidity and wind (force). It transmits this data to your home weather station, where you can see the figures yourself. Based on these figures, the weather of the day is determined and possibly the weather of the week as well.
Which weather station is the best?
You obviously want the weather station that best suits your needs. So here, look at the features these have, what kind of weather does it measure, does it also provide weather forecasts, does it indicate when the sunrise or sunset is. Some weather stations allow you to turn on a freeze or wind alarm.
It is also important to consider the distance from the sensor to the receiver. A short distance also means you need space close to the receiver to hang the sensor.
