The Zeiss Otus 100mm F/1.4 ZE Canon is a short telephoto lens. The refined apochromat construction excels in a variety of recording situations. The focal length is ideal for portrait photography. The bright maximum aperture of F/1.4 gives you extensive control over depth of field and the ability to shoot in low light. The Sonnar optical facet allows you to photograph in different working distances. The lens design also includes floating elements to maintain high sharpness and contrast across the entire focal range. In addition, a range of low dispersion aspherical glass elements are also used to reduce distortion, colour fringing and aberrations. This ensures well-corrected image quality. In addition, an improved Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating has been applied to significantly reduce ghosting and lens flare. This gives you enhanced contrast and colour fidelity when working under strong light.
The manual focus design includes a rubber focus ring for finely tuned, precision control over your focus position. In addition, this lens features an aesthetic and durable anodised metal lens mount surface. Furthermore, the lens'
