The Zhongyi Mitakon 25mm F/0.95 Speedmaster is an ultra-fast prime lens that offers a 35mm equivalent focal length of 50mm in the MFT system. A maximum aperture of F/0.95 makes it extremely convenient to shoot in low light. Also important is that this lens weighs only 250 grams and is only 4.5cm long. Its compact size and fast aperture make it an ideal companion of your camera for everyday shooting in a wide range of conditions.
Despite being extremely light, the lens's optical design features 11 elements in 9 groups, including an Extra-Low Dispersion element, 4 Extra High Refractive Index elements and two High Refractive Index elements. This structure effectively minimizes chromatic aberrations and delivers excellent image sharpness, even at F/0.95. The lens also features 11 aperture blades for a close-to-circle aperture for a creamy depth of field. Optimized lens coatings ensure that the lens flare and ghosting is suppressed. Manual focus and clickless, silent aperture cooling promote smooth handling and are particularly well suited for video applications. The lens has a metal housing with a protective finish for extra durability.
