The optical design utilises two ultra-high refractive index elements and two high refractive index elements to produce well-corrected images, free from chromatic and spherical aberrations. The lens's manual focus design is suitable for working with subjects as close as 70 cm away, with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.
